Ghana's vegetables & fruits are primarily rainfed smallholder crops. Tomato dominates with 56,000 ha. Onion production is highly seasonal (dry-season irrigation). Major hubs: Brong-Ahafo (tomato), Upper East (dry-season onion/tomato), Volta (shallot/pepper), Greater Accra & Ashanti (peri-urban gardens).
